LITTLE FALLS, NJ - The Passaic Valley softball team secured a 9-2 victory against Passaic County Tech on Monday.

The Hornets scored five runs in the first inning to set the tone for the game. They continued to build on their lead, adding two more runs in the second inning, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Bulldogs.

Key contributors for Passaic Valley included Lily Allmendinger and Bella Gomez, who each had standout performances at the plate. Allmendinger scored three runs and added two hits, while Gomez contributed three hits and two RBIs. Kacey DiPasquale also made an impact, contributing with two runs scored.

On the mound, Mia Aquino allowed just two runs on five hits while recording 10 strikeouts.

With this win, the Hornets improve to a season record of 12-7 overall and 7-3 in the Big North - Independence division.
