Dubuque Police Arrest Arizona Man on Attempted Murder Charges
An Arizona man was arrested early this morning on charges which include attempted murder for a brutal beating that occurred in Dubuque in 2021. 29-year old Timothy Woods of Peoria, Arizona is accused of seriously injuring Breanna Hansen at a residence in the 3000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on June 25, 2021. Hansen was found lying unconscious inside the home and she was first taken to the hospital in Dubuque and then transferred by ambulance to University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

A recent report made at 15:53 on October 3, 2023, highlighted an instance of Debit Card detail theft and fraudulent charges through Cash App at the Sonic Drive located at 51st Ave and Peoria, Glendale. The resident who experienced the incident reported the Carhop was identified as 'Quinn' and the receiver of the fraudulent cash app charges was one 'Anthony Smith'. The resident observed that while the payment was being processed, the 'screen' was blank and the card was taken inside for around 3 to 4 minutes. The resident has already reported this incident to their bank, Sonic Corporate, and the Glendale Police Department. Visitors who have been to this Sonic location in the past few days are encouraged to check their bank statements.
