SOUTHGATE, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - The Southgate Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened on Nov. 17. Police released photos of a person of interest. If anyone recognizes the person of interest in the photos, call the SPD Detective Bureau at 734-258-3055.

Michigan is coming up on its 5th year anniversary of legalizing marijuana across the state. In case you celebrate the holiday it will be December 6. Detroit police seek help finding driver involved in triple hit-and-run
DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking information on finding the driver involved in a triple hit-and-run. The incident occurred on Saturday (Nov. 25) at 5:35 p.m. in the area of Schoolcraft Road and Rutland Street, where three women, ages 25, 34, and 50, got hit by an unknown suspect while crossing the street.

Late night riders found with meth in stolen car
WYANDOTTE — A patrol officer spotted a car with four adults in it suspiciously prowling a residential neighborhood at 1:53 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 400 block of St. John Street. When they spotted the police car, they pulled into a driveway and turned off the headlights, pretending they had reached their destination. However, the police officer illuminated the vehicle with his spotlight and activated the patrol car’s emergency lights.
Law and Order: Three Michigan residents arrested in alleged credit card scam at Speedway
Germayne D. Fifer, 19, of Inkster, Mich., Elijah A Davis, 22, of Inkster, Mich., and Tyrese I. Heard, 19, of Ypsilanti, Mich., are charged with grand larceny 3rd and conspiracy 5th. The trio is accused of engaging in a credit card scam at Speedway in Batavia on Nov. 9 when they allegedly stole $5,000 in gift cards. Batavia patrol officers located the suspects' vehicle on Oak Street. The three suspects were arraigned in City Court and released.
