(Lincoln, NE) – Two Nebraska Huskers athletes have been honored by the Big Ten with both Darius Luff and Tyus Wilson being named to Big Ten Honors for Nebraska.

Darius Luff was named the Big Ten Men’s Track Athlete of the Week after he earned a 13.25 in the 110-meter hurdles during the Drake Relays. This time broke the school record that he already held, and put him into the #1 spot in the NCAA. He also ranks fifth in the world with that time in the 110-meter hurdles. On the other side, Darius Luff is named for another Big Ten Honor after jumping 7’5″ in the high jump to earn the Drake Relays title. That moved him to #2 currently in the NCAA and ranks #5 in Nebraska Huskers history.

Nebraska’s track athletes have now been named to Big Ten honors a total of four times in the outdoor season with five honors in the indoor season.

The Huskers will be traveling to Ann Arbor, MI to compete at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships next Friday the 10th through Sunday the 12th.
