Grant to fund Atlanta World Cup ‘wayfinding’ study
A study is in the works to improve signage and “wayfinding” in downtown Atlanta in preparation for the 2026 World Cup. The Atlanta Regional Commission on Wednesday announced it has awarded $140,000 to the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District to update signs for pedestrians and cyclists, including plans for murals and other public art displays by local artists.
