Pikeville attorney named Kentucky Board Association President
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The Kentucky Bar Association recently swore in its new president, bringing an Eastern Kentuckian to the seat for the first time in more than 40 years. Rhonda Blackburn, an attorney who works with Pikeville Medical Center’s legal team, was sworn into the position, hoping to use the opportunity to spread the mission of the KBA.
ARH's Ashley Webb honored by Dream Appalachia
Ashley Webb, Appalachian Regional Healthcare system diabetes education coordinator, was recognized by regional leaders and public officials as one of the “50 Under 50” most outstanding leaders in Johnson, Lawrence, Letcher, Martin, Floyd and Pike Counties at the Dream Appalachia Poverty Conference in Inez in April, according to a statement from ARH.
