    Liberty police cancel Silver Alert after missing 69-year-old man found safe

    UPDATE: Liberty police reports Richard Michael Richmond has been located and is safe.

    LIBERTY, Mo. — The Liberty Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing 69-year-old man.

    Police say Richard Michael Richmond was last seen around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at 1844 Arbor Trail in Liberty.

    He’s described as standing 5’7″ and weighs 230 pounds. He is bald with hazel eyes. It is unknown what clothing he had on.

    His vehicle is described as a white 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Missouri license NB6P0A.

    Richmond is diagnosed with Parkinson’s and dementia and is without a cell phone and needed medication.

    Anyone with information is asked to call 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Liberty Police Department at (816) 439-4701.
