LUBBOCK, Texas — Court documents from Hockley County on Monday showed a man accused of killing his ex-wife more than 30 years ago, Ricky Don Henderson, 62, had his murder charge dismissed due to “insufficient evidence.”

A motion to dismiss, filed Friday, stated, “The State reserves the right to re-represent this case to a grand jury at a later time.”
