Buffalo softball punches ticket to state tournament
BUFFALO, W.VA. (WCHS) — In Class A, Buffalo doubled up Ravenswood 6-3 to advance to the state tournament. Buffalo will face Petersburg in game two on Wednesday, May 22. Kelsey Brock had a pair of hits for Buffalo, including a triple and it was also a two-hit night for the Bison's Kimmie Dillman. Brooke Meadows hit two doubles for Ravenswood.

RAVENSWOOD — Buffalo played errorless softball here Tuesday night in game two of the Class A, Region IV best-of-three series and stayed alive after leaving town with a 5-3 victory against host Ravenswood, which won Monday’s opener 2-1. The 17-12 Bison of head coach Bill Rasnake rallied from a 3-1 deficit to make a winner of Kimmie Dillman, who scattered eight hits and allowed three earned runs while issuing two walks with five strikeouts.
