Prep roundup: Leslie softball picks up sweep

SOFTBALL

LESLIE 4, JONESVILLE 0 / LESLIE 15, JONESVILLE 8

Ada Bradford picked up both wins in the circle and finished with three hits, two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored to help the Blackhawks to a pair of wins over Jonesville. Gabby Waldofsky finished with a team-high five hits through both games and Jalen Fossitt scored three runs for Leslie.

BASEBALL

LESLIE 13, MICHIGAN CENTER 5

Henry Bradford went 2-for-3 with two doubles and had six RBI and Hudson Phillips went 3-for-3 for the Blackhawks (11-5-1) in their win. Jackson Fossitt went 2-for-2 with a double for Leslie.

CLIO 13, OWOSSO 5

Liam Patrick finished with a team-high three hits for the Trojans in a defeat to Clio. Paul Hrncharik, Eden Ackley, Blake Binger and Hoyt Patrick each tacked on a hit for Owosso.

BOYS GOLF

OWOSSO 246, CORUNNA 251

Ryan Dahl and Owen Feldpausch each shot a team-best 36 to help the Trojans bring home the Phillips Cup with a victory over Corunna.

GIRLS SOCCER

GOODRICH 5, OWOSSO 0

Izzy Jameson finished with a team-high 11 saves for the Trojans in a loss to Goodrich.

GIRLS TENNIS

LAKEWOOD 8, LESLIE 0

The doubles teams of Liv Everitt/Abby Pickard and Hayden Bump/Kenzie Everett won in straight sets as Lakewood picked up all eight wins for the victory over Leslie.
