FSU vs. the ACC: Dismissal with leave to amend is Monday's court result, jurisdiction discussion hits 'hurdle'
TALLAHASSEE -- Florida State and the Atlantic Coast Conference returned to the Leon County Courthouse on Monday to continue their hearing from April 9th regarding the ACC's motion to dismiss, or stay, the case brought by the Florida State University Board of Trustees against the league in Leon County Circuit Court. The legal proceedings were before Judge John C. Cooper with the legal team for FSU and the ACC both present in the courtroom. A majority of the discussion at the podium on the day came from Peter G. Rush of Greenberg Traurig, representing the FSU Board of Trustees, and Amber Nunnally of Lawson Huck Gonzalez, representing the ACC.
