    There were plenty of great performances on the lacrosse fields last week, and Tommy Cassell found some of the best for readers to vote on to decide the Hometeam Boys' Lacrosse Player of the Week.

    Player of the week nominations are selected by reporters based on coaches reporting game results into the Telegram & Gazette sports department and game coverage from the T&G sports department staff.     Quinn Carlson, St. Bernard’s

    This senior tallied seven goals and two assists to power the host Bernardians past Leominster.

    Josh Hoecker, St. Bernard’s

    After scoring six goals and adding an assist in a win over Leominster, Hoecker collected 10 goals and two helpers in the Bernardians’ victory over Assabet.

    Dillon Kelleher, Nashoba

    This senior scored six goals and added two assists in the Wolves’ narrow loss to Westfield before adding six points (5 goals, assist) in a win over Groton-Dunstable.

    Matt Lemay, St. John’s

    This senior scored four times as the visiting Pioneers rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat Algonquin.

    Andrew McCabe, AMSA

    This senior scored five times to lift the visiting eagles over Assabet before scoring the game-winning goal in a 9-8 victory over Nashoba.

    Zach Milner, Littleton

    Milner’s four scores helped the visiting Tigers edge Lunenburg, 9-8.

    Garrett Willworth, Algonquin

    Willworth collected four goals and two assists to propel the visiting Titans past Groton-Dunstable.
