There were plenty of great performances on the lacrosse fields last week, and Tommy Cassell found some of the best for readers to vote on to decide the Hometeam Girls' Lacrosse Player of the Week.
Congratulations to Notre Dame's Maddie Dugan, who captured the top spot in last week's poll with 206 votes (39.3 percent), beating out Shepherd Hill's Emma Kokocinski (87 votes) for the honor.
Player of the week nominations are selected by reporters based on coaches reporting game results into the Telegram & Gazette sports department and game coverage from the T&G sports department staff. Game results and highlights can be submitted by email at sports@telegram.com or by calling the sports department at 508-793-9350.
