Leitchfield police arrest man for using 12-year-old boy to shoplift from local store
Leitchfield police arrested a man for using a 12-year-old boy to shoplift at a local retail outlet. On Friday afternoon at 4:25, Leitchfield Officers Ty Whitaker and Chuck Hoover responded to Walmart on a shoplifting complaint. Upon arriving and conducting an investigation, police determined that 24-year-old Brett Kraszewski, of Hardinsburg, had been directing a 12-year-old male to steal over $500 worth of items from the store.

Units Respond To Drowning Rescue At North Fork On Saturday
ROUGH RIVER (06/03/23) – Emergency crews were called to the North Fork section of Rough River Lake on Saturday on a report of a possible drowning. Reports indicated an 18-year-old male from Ohio County went under, but was rescued and resuscitated and taken to Breckinridge Memorial, then later airlifted to Jewish Hospital in Louisville. The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department, McDaniels and Hardinsburg Fire Departments and Breck Central EMS among those responding to the scene.
