    😸Happy Tuesday!

Just like that, Leesburg Bikefest has motored into the past and left us in its dust. Photographers Paul Ryan, Cindy Peterson and I took photos at the event and realized what an amazingly diverse and entertaining crowd makes up the the biker community at large.

What did you love about the three-day event? What did you think could have been better? Let us know your thoughts for a Daily Commercial follow-up piece. Email us at news@dailycommercial.com

5th Judicial Circuit Judge Tim McCourt took his seat on the bench in Lake County on Jan. 3, appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Before that, he was general counsel for the Marion County Sheriff’s Office since 2019, served as president of the Marion County Bar Association, and served as an assistant state attorney in the circuit for 10 years.

Fast forward to this spring: A month after Ocala-based Circuit Judge Anthony Tatti traded in his black robe to be a defense attorney, Gov. Ron DeSantis made an appointment to fill Tatti's position. The new judge will work in Lake County, freeing up Judge McCourt to take on Tatti's docket in Ocala.
