The Brass Tap, a Tampa-based craft beer bar and entertainment venue of nearly 50 bars in 16 states is continuing its expansion with Ridham Bhatt opening a new Brass Tap located at 15181 Ronald Reagan Blvd. on Monday, April 22nd.

Bhatt was a regular patron at The Brass Tap in Allen and introduced his cousin Kirat Shahiwala and their friend Ravi Patel to the brand. They loved the food and rotating selection of craft beers, as well as the friendly, neighborhood bar experience. The group decided to partner with the brand and open their first Brass Tap in Rockwall in 2020. Since then, the trio has opened four additional bars in Dallas, Sachse, Richardson and Plano – with another bar set to open in Leander in April.

In total, Bhatt has 15 licenses, making him the biggest brand owner of Brass Tap nationwide. Now, he’s continuing that momentum with his first Brass Tap in Leander. The bar will feature 40 local beers and will create about 30 jobs.

“We are excited to bring The Brass Tap neighborhood bar to the Leander community, as we think it is in need of a good upscale neighborhood bar that offers 100+ beer selections, 50 of them being on tap, along with a wide variety of food offerings,” said Ridham Bhatt in a statement. “We believe it will add value to the neighborhood and it will be the go-to-place for locals with weekly events being offered such as trivia, karaoke, music bingo, and live bands.”

The Leander opening is one piece in The Brass Tap’s larger growth story. The brand currently has nearly 50 locations opened in 16 U.S. states. The Leander location will be the 12th location in Texas.

“We are fortunate to be growing quickly with operators like Ridham Bhatt,” said The Brass Tap’s CMO, Heather Boggs. “We are excited to continue to grow with their team across the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.”

With system-wide growth on the docket for 2024, The Brass Tap is seeing notable activity in Dallas, Texas; the Washington and Baltimore areas; and Southern California. There are currently a total of 23 Brass Tap openings scheduled this year.
