Bullhead City officials announce beginning of summer park season
BULLHEAD CITY — Officials announced Friday the start of the summer season at Community Park. During the summer season, non-residents of Bullhead City pay $20 for parking at Community Park, 1251 Highway 95. For residents of Fort Mohave and Laughlin, Bullhead City offers a $50 season pass which can be purchased at City Hall. This pass, which requires a government-issued ID to verify residency, allows unlimited parking throughout the summer.

Man's body found by rock collector in desert near Bullhead Parkway
BULLHEAD CITY — The body of a yet-to-be-identified man was found Monday night in the desert area near the Bullhead Parkway. The Bullhead City Police Department was notified of the discovery by a man walking in the wash near Milepost 2 on the parkway at about 8:20 p.m. Monday. The man was collecting rocks when he found the deceased man, police said.

KINGMAN — Possibly the first of its kind, a murder trial for a Bullhead City man charged with stabbing his stepfather to death began Monday. John Ashley James, 49, is charged with first-degree murder for the murder of Gabriel Paz Toledano, 65, in May 2021 in Bullhead City.
