Stormy Daniels has claimed that she and her infant daughter were threatened by a man in a Las Vegas car park over her alleged affair with Donald Trump . This revelation came during her explosive testimony on the 13th day of Trump's criminal hush money trial .

Daniels informed the jury that she was "approached by a man in the parking lot of a shopping center in Las Vegas" in June 2011, while she was en route to a Mommy and Me class with her baby daughter.

"I thought he was the husband or something of one of the other women in the class [at first]," Ms Daniels said. "He threatened me not to continue to tell my story."

The former adult film star previously said she encountered a threatening Trump ally while she was in a car park holding her infant daughter. Now, she's testified to these events under oath.

She recounted the same story in 2018 for Business Insider. Ms Daniels kept her then-boyfriend in the dark about the parking lot incident, citing his mental health struggles and alcoholism as reasons for her silence.

She also admitted to concealing the details of her sexual encounter with Trump from her partner due to concerns over his potential reaction amid a difficult time in his life.Daniels disclosed that after the Access Hollywood tape surfaced in October 2016, there was heightened interest in her story, which she was keen to capitalize on, reports the Mirror .

Nonetheless, Daniels has maintained that her intention was not financial profit but to bring her story into the public eye. She later accepted $130,000 from Trump's attorney Michael Cohen to remain silent about their affair just before the election - the pivotal issue at the heart of the trial.

The prosecution's line of questioning aims to demonstrate to the jury Daniels' alleged relationship with Trump , which he disputes. Their objective is to establish that the hush money payment was not only directed by Trump but was made to prevent electoral embarrassment.

Committing fraud to influence an election is a federal offense - the very charge Trump faces in court.
