LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An 18-year-old reported missing out of Idaho is accused of stabbing a woman a dozen times and then attempting to hide the crime by covering up the woman’s body in a dumpster enclosure behind a Las Vegas business in the west valley.

The woman, who is either 59 or 60 years old, has yet to be officially identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Her body was discovered on Monday, April 29, two days after she was allegedly killed, according to police documents.

The suspect, Lincoln Boe, 18, who is accused of stabbing the woman to death, was reported missing out of Idaho by his parents. Boe told police he drove to Las Vegas because he “wanted to get away and have some freedom,” according to the arrest report.

Following the discovery of the woman’s body, police viewed surveillance video from a plasma business near West Sahara Avenue and Fort Apache Road which showed the woman pushing a shopping cart and approaching the dumpster enclosure around 3 p.m. on April 27. About one hour later, a man, later identified as Boe is seen parking a car with Idaho license plates at the rear of the business, walking to the dumpsters, and looking through trash, the report said.

Nearly 20 minutes later, police said surveillance video showed Boe walking into the front of the plasma business and asking if there were cameras at the back of the business. According to the report, an employee escorted Boe to the back-ally door and showed him where the cameras were located. The employee told officers Boe then walked down a loading dock ramp and appeared “excited” and did a “little dance.”

At 4:50 p.m., Boe was then seen on video back inside the dumpster enclosure. Police believe he was attempting to cover up the crime scene, documents stated.

“It appears Lincoln was inside the enclosure, standing over the exact spot where the victim was located deceased, shortly after the victim was last observed alive on video,” the report said.

Boe was taken into custody on Thursday, May 2 when officers located him in a parking lot on Boulder Highway. Court records show he is being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail and will appear in court at 8:30 a.m. on May 7.
