Huse pleads no contest to charges
ANTIGO — A local man was charged with over 30 felony counts for sexual assault against minors he taught roughly over two decades ago. Travis Huse pleaded no contest to 12 of those charges Tuesday morning at the Langlade County Courthouse. The 2024 White Lake Junior Prom was held Saturday, May 4th. The gym was decorated to the theme of Enchanted Forest and the prom court was presented promptly at 8 p.m. This year’s prom court included Queen Kailee H and King Brody K, Princess Selene R and Prince Liandro C, First Attendants Kaileigh K and Alexa L (standing in for Nick B), Second Attendants Taylor M and Nathan M, and Mini Princess Maci H and Mini Prince Nolan S. Three Lakes picks up fifth straight victory with win over Crandon
THREE LAKES, Wis. (WJFW) - There was a Northern Lakes Conference battle on the softball diamond between Three Lakes and Crandon. Local group providing free invasive plant removal
LANGLADE COUNTY — A local invasive species management organization is utilizing a federal grant it received in 2022 to reduce invasive plant species on local landowners’ properties. Timberland Invasives Partnership (TIP), a nonprofit cooperative group based in Keshena, was awarded a $135,000 Landscape Scale Restoration Grant along with two other organizations from the U.S. Forest Service to remove invasive terrestrial plants from local landowners’ properties.
