NORTH EAST — Investigators captured a man near Elkton on Monday — less than 48 hours after he allegedly shot his neighbor inside a North East apartment building, sending the victim to a regional trauma hospital, according to Cecil County District Court records. 21-year-old Bear man named by police as motorcyclist who died in Ogletown crash Sunday
Delaware State Police have identified the Bear motorcyclist who died in a crash in Ogletown on Sunday as 21-year-old Austin Brittingham. Brittingham was heading east on Route 4 near Gender Road when a westbound Nissan turned left on a flashing arrow in front of him, police said. The front of Brittingham's motorcycle hit the passenger side of the Nissan as it crossed the eastbound lanes of Route 4, according to police.

CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. (TCD) -- The parents of an 8-year-old child who died from drug exposure face charges nearly a year after their son’s death. According to the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, in the early hours of July 26, 2023, officers with the Coatesville Police Department responded to a home in reference to a child in cardiac arrest. Forty-year-old Holly Back led officers inside, where they observed 41-year-old Mousa Hawa performing CPR on his young son, identified by WPVI-TV as Hunter Hawa.

Rising Sun High School hosted its second signing day of the school year in late-May to honor the achievements of six senior athletes set to compete in college athletics next year. Wrestling’s Mason Testerman signed with Division II Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania. Testerman won his first Class 2A/1A State Championship at 190 pounds this past winter.
