The City of Lakeland is aware of an allegation, against an employee’s spouse, that has been made on social media. The alleged incident is reported to have occurred outside of the Lakeland Police Department’s jurisdiction. Law enforcement is aware and, at this point, we are monitoring the situation.

A Bartow couple have been charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child in the death of a 3-year-old boy.
