West Potomac High School’s Running is Elementary Track Meet Preview
West Potomac High School is hosting their annual Running is Elementary Track Meet this week. Every year the West Potomac Track & Field team hosts a track meet for the West Potomac pyramid of elementary schools to compete in. Like in previous years, the meet is separated into two days. On Monday May 6th, kindergarten through 3rd grade will be competing and on Thursday May 9th, 4th grade through 6th grade will be competing.

Park View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks. Patuxent softball blanks Lackey
After battling through three scoreless innings with her Lackey High School pitching counterpart Dakota Miles last Friday afternoon, Patuxent High junior hurler Autumn Kern appeared to gain a genuine boost in confidence after the Panthers plated two runs in the top of the fourth and the visitors departed with a 4-0 win.
