Concert band puts on Mother’s Day show in Lake Oswego
The Lake Oswego Millennium Concert Band will present a Mother’s Day show dedicated to the women who raised us. Man found guilty of murder is accused of killing another in same Northeast Portland location
PORTLAND, Ore. — A jury found a man guilty Tuesday for killing a man during a carjacking in Northeast Portland in 2020, the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office said. On Aug. 20, 2020, Portland police responded to reports of a shooting near the Grotto along Northeast Skidmore Street. When officers arrived, they found a man shot dead, later identified as 66-year-old Thomas Hammond, the district attorney's office said.
