Stolen vehicle used in Summit Credit Union ATM robbery

LAKE MILLS — An unspecified amount of money was stolen from a Summit Credit Union ATM in Lake Mills early Saturday morning, according to a press release from the Lake Mills Police Department.

Lake Mills police officers responded at 5:55 a.m. to 141 E Tyranena Park Road for a “report of damage to the ATM,” the press release stated. Forced entry was made into the ATM with an undisclosed amount of cash taken from the machine.

Upon investigation, officers discovered that a black 1999 Wisconsin-registered Ford F250 was used during the incident. The truck’s license plate read NW2712.

According to the press release, the vehicle had been stolen from a Lake Mills residence. Officers located the stolen vehicle at an unspecified location at 11 p.m. on April 20.
