Hillsdale prepares for familiar foe in softball tourney
JEROMESVILLE — It may be too early to call it a full-blown rivalry, but the postseason paths of statewide heavyweights Hillsdale and Keystone will soon cross again. The second-seeded Falcons and seventh-seeded Wildcats will meet in a Division III district semifinal game at Wellington’s Rec Park at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The same two teams met in the district championship in Wellington last spring with the Wildcats holding on for a 2-0 win.

Greater Cleveland Conference adds Lorain for start of 2025-26 season
Mentor and Euclid have a new partner in the Greater Cleveland Conference. On May 15, the GCC announced Lorain High School is joining the Greater Cleveland Conference. The GCC — established in 2016 — officially added Lorain at its most recent board meeting. The Titans will begin competing in their new conference for the 2025-26 school year.
