Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck by Car in North Park Late Night Incident
A pedestrian jaywalking across 30th Street in North Park met with a grisly accident late last night. According to the San Diego Police Department's Watch Commander's Log, a 32-year-old man was hit by a car while crossing University Avenue against the red light. The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, including an open fracture to his right tibia/fibula. SDPD reports indicate that the injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
