Kinston man arrested on several charges after foot chase
KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) — A Kinston man has been arrested after he fled from police who were responding to a call of someone inappropriately touching themselves. On Tuesday at around 7 p.m., officers with the Kinston Police Department responded to a report of an individual inappropriately touching himself near 108 W. North Street in Kinston. The suspect, Anthony Briggs, 38, of Kinston, spotted officers and began to run away.
Lenoir County Sheriff's Office seeking to identify theft suspects
LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) -The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in a recent break-in. On Saturday, April 20, at around 8 p.m., authorities say the two people in the picture with this story broke into Hugo Auto Sales on Cameron Langston Road in Grifton and took several items from the business.

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office says a suspect is in custody after an armed robbery at a convenience store early Thursday morning. The sheriff’s office says Marshall Grady, 21, of Kinston, robbed the Speedway at 1608 US Highway 258 South at gunpoint at 2:42 a.m. this morning and left with stolen money.
Man arrested for fentanyl possession following narcotics tip
KINSTON, Lenoir County — A Lenoir County man was taken into custody for possession of fentanyl following a narcotics tip. On Tuesday, April 23 Kinston officers located a man in a vehicle on the 500 block of E. New Bern Road after receiving a tip regarding drugs. Officers came in contact with Dustin Grady, 31 of Deep Run and used K9 Knox to assist in a search of the vehicle. Fentanyl and drug paraphernalia were located, according to authorities.
