Win free chicken for a year at grand opening of new Raising Cane’s in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Raising Cane’s is celebrating the grand opening of a new Knoxville location this weekend by giving away free chicken for an entire year.

A grand opening celebration will be held Sunday, May 5 at the new restaurant at 1830 Cumberland Avenue. A ribbon-cutting will take place at 9 a.m., and doors will officially open at 10 a.m.

A company spokesperson confirmed that the existing location at 1659 Cumberland Avenue will close.

To mark the occasion, a drawing will be held to award 20 people free Cane’s for an entire year. Entries will be accepted from 7a.m. to 8 a.m., with the drawing taking place at 9:35 a.m. Customers must be present to win.

The first 100 customers to purchase a combo will receive a commemorative shirt and free box combo on their return visit.

Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 10 to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

It is the fifth Raising Cane’s location in Tennessee.
