Lady Vols basketball transfer tracker: Who's in, who's out for Kim Caldwell's roster

Lady Vols basketball is building out a roster under first-year coach Kim Caldwell .

Caldwell, who was hired April 7 after one season at Marshall , has filled out her staff and now will fill out the 2024-25 roster via the transfer portal.

Karoline Striplin

Karoline Striplin averaged 7.2 points and 3.1 rebounds in 33 games, with 11 starts. The 6-foot-3 forward shot 49.1% and hit 31% of her 3-pointers. She averaged 14.4 minutes per game. Her best game was a 29-point effort, with four 3-pointers, in the Lady Vols' loss to Middle Tennessee State.

Who is joining Tennessee basketball via the transfer portal?

Alyssa Latham

Alyssa Latham averaged 8.6 points and seven rebounds for Syracuse in 2023-24. The 6-2 Latham led the Orange with 42 blocks and 224 total rebounds and started in 26 of the 32 games she played in. She was named to the ACC All-Freshman team.

Jewel Spear, Tess Darby returning for Lady Vols

Jewel Spear

Jewel Spear led Tennessee with 69 3-pointers on 37.3% 3-point shooting last season. The Wake Forest transfer averaged 13.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

She initially announced she would go back to UT, but the next day, Kellie Harper was fired as coach. Spear indicated she was considering remaining with the Lady Vols when Caldwell was introduced as the coach, then made that her final decision.

Tess Darby

Tess Darby is coming back for a fifth season. The 6-foot-1 guard from Greenfield has played four years at Tennessee. She moved into the top 10 for career 3-pointers this season and is now No. 5 all-time with 170. She is using her COVID-19 year of eligibility to return.
