Gezellig Brewing Company brews new batch of tulip-flavored beer for Tulip Time
PELLA, Iowa — Tulip Time kicks off in Pella next week and a local brewery is marking the occasion with a drink they think makes a perfect pairing. The small team at Gezellig Brewing Company in Newton used 300 red tulips harvested from Nunnikhoven Farm, located east of Knoxville in Marion County, to make this year's batch of Tulip Bier, released on Wednesday.
