Tracy/Knoxville Man Faces Numerous Felonies
A 22-year-old man from Tracy or Knoxville, according to court records, was charged with three Class D Felonies, one Class B Felony and two Serious Misdemeanors for two separate incidents, one on June 5 and the other April 1. Court documents show the man residing in both Knoxville and Tracy.

Authorities identify man killed in Iowa motorcycle crash
POLK COUNTY, Iowa — Officials in Polk County have identified the man whodied in a motorcycle crash on June 2. According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Lynn Cooke, 63, of Runnells, was riding the motorcycle westbound near the 11200 block of Southeast 32nd Avenue before crossing the eastbound lane and entering the ditch south of the road.

Knoxville Emergency Crews Respond to Fire, Vehicle Driving Into Building
The Knoxville Fire Department and several other local emergency crews responded to two incidents in Knoxville this evening. Fire Chief Cal Wyman says they were dispatched to a reported residential fire in the 100 block of South Conrey St at 8:16 p.m. The Knoxville City Fire Department responded with one engine company, one EMS company, and one command officers. Departments arrived to find smoke throughout the main floor of the residence. Engine crews made entry to find a dryer on fire. Crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the structure.
Press Release from Marion County Sheriff’s Office About Drowning
The following is a press release from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office:. On Saturday May 27, 2023, at 7:27 p.m., the Marion County Law Enforcement Center took a 911 call from an individual at the Whitebreast boat ramp at Lake Red Rock. The caller advised a group of young males were swimming outside the designated swimming area when one of the individuals went under water and failed to resurface. Multiple Agencies responded to the scene to try to rescue the individual. Search efforts were suspended at about midnight on May 28, 2023 and resumed a little before 6:00 am on May 28, 2023.
