Purdue student found dead inside his dorm room
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A 20-year-old Purdue student from Carmel didn't wake up Friday morning inside his dorm room in the 1100 block of Third Street, prompting a death investigation, Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello said. Costello said an autopsy will be scheduled, but initial indications are that the student's death is not suspicious. The death is being investigated by Purdue police and the coroner's office, Costello said. Dog pulls fire alarm at Carmel pet grooming business
CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — A Labrador retriever pulled a fire alarm Saturday at a dog grooming business, the Carmel Fire Department says. Sometime before 2 p.m. Saturday, the alarm brought firefighters to the Carmel City Center business at 885 Monon Green Blvd. That’s off South Range Line Road south of City Center Drive, aka 126th Street.
