In pleading guilty, Marshall admitted to driving to a Port Ewen home with a loaded handgun on Oct. 6, 2022. He fired at the house, hitting a resident in the hip, and then fled. Ulster County Sheriff’s Office detectives investigated, and police ultimately arrested Marshall.

An Ulster County grand jury indicted Marshall in October 2023 for more than just assault, specifically attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, which was dropped. Marshall will remain in Ulster County Jail without bail until his sentencing on Thursday, August 22.
