Longtime musician to sign copies of book ‘The Life of a Steel Player’ Friday before Spring Festival of Country Music
HANNIBAL, Mo. — A longtime musician and now author will be signing books at 4 p.m. Friday, May 17, at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. Virgil Watts wrote the book “The Life of a Steel Player” and will be signing copies of the book before the Spring Festival of Country Music, which begins at 6 p.m. at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.

HANNIBAL, Mo. — The Hannibal Area String Orchestra will present its annual spring concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, in the Roland Fine Arts Center, 2800 Palmyra Road. The public is invited to attend. Admission is free, but a free-will offering will be taken to help cover the cost of music and other expenses.
