Warm and dry Saturday
It might be the first weekend in May, but already feels like summer, with early morning temperatures on Key Biscayne already close to 80 degrees. Today, partly cloudy and a forecast high of 81 degrees between 1 and 4 p.m., although the 75% humidity is making it feel much warmer, and winds out of the east at 10 to 20 miles per hour.
Calmer seas and easterly winds bring the dolphin fish in and fishermen out
Big winds early in the week slowly subsided, allowing the offshore fleet to do what they do best: fish! This weekend's forecast calls for calmer seas before the winds pick up again. The good thing is that the weather forecast has been out of the east and that wind direction often pushes blue water edges, sargasso weed lines and dolphin fish closer to the reef.
