Dot’s Market receives award for its accurate pricing, business practices

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Montgomery County Auditor Karl Keith honored a local grocery store chain for its accurate pricing on Friday, April 26.

Dot’s Market was recognized with the Charles Richmond Excellence in Scanning Award. Keith says it’s because of the store’s accurate pricing and praise-worthy business practices.

Dot’s Kettering store, located at 2274 Patterson Rd., earned a perfect score on its annual price inspections in the last five years.

Water safety emphasized as warm weather draws near

Their newest location in Centerville earned a perfect score during its first year of operation in 2023.

In 2022, the scanning award was rededicated to Charles Richmond, a 24-year veteran of the Auditor’s Office in the weights and measures department.

Dot’s Market first opened on Patterson Road in Kettering in 1951. It’s independently owned and family-run.
