Kettering roadways reopen following crash

KETTERING, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Major Kettering roads are back open after a “severe” crash.

According to a social media post from Kettering Police Department, a crash closed both directions of Wilmington Pike between Parklawn Drive and Bigger Road, as well as both directions of E. David Road between Bigger Road and Wilmington Pike.

Kettering police told 2 NEWS a two-vehicle crash sent four people to the hospital. Of the four hurt, two are listed in critical condition.

Authorities confirmed that the driver and passenger of a vehicle were trapped inside.

Witnesses claim they allegedly saw one driver run the red light, according to police.

The crash remains under investigation by the Kettering Police Department.
