    Activity: Lights & Shadows

    Location:K-W M/HS Early Childhood Wing

    Dates: Wednesday, June 12, 9:00-10:00 am

    Cost: $8

    Description: Discover the captivating effects of light and shadows. Students will learn more about light and shadows by doing experiments and other art projects in a play based environment. Ages 3-6

    Activity: Fossils are Fantastic

    Location: K-W M/HS Room E149

    Dates: Monday, June 17, 10:00-10:30 (ages 4-6) 10:45-11:30 (ages 7-11)

    Cost: $15

    Description: Do you love DINOSAURS? Then let’s travel back 160,000,000+ years and investigate the animals, plants, and habitats that make us all love dinosaurs through hands on activities. This class is being put on by Science Made Fun from Bloomington

    Activity: Toddler Tuesday

    Location: K-W Early Childhood Wing (Outside)

    Dates: Tuesday, August 6 10:00-11:00 am

    Cost: $5

    Description: Toddlers love to play! Come play and socialize with lots of activities that toddlers love. Sidewalk chalk, paint, bubbles, water table, parachute games, and more. Wear clothes that could get wet.

    Activity: Community Theater Production of Hello Dolly

    Location: K-W M/HS Auditorium

    Dates: Auditions May 1 @ 6:00 pm, Performances June 28 & 29 @ 7:00 pm, June 30 @ 2:00 pm

    Cost: $65 for participants, tickets $12 adults, $10 Students and Adults ages 62 and up

    Description: Community Theater is back this summer at K-W. We are so excited for this opportunity to showcase the talent of our students, alumni, and community members! An old fashioned, rousing musical with some of the most spectacular singing and dancing numbers ever, Hello Dolly is sure to be a memorable performance. Set in 1890s New York City, the bold and enchanting Dolly Levi is a socialite-turned-matchmaker. Her latest clients seeking assistance are the cantankerous “half-a -millionaire” Horace Vandergelder and a young artist named Ambrose, who is in love with Horace’s niece, Ermengarde. Dolly’s scheming soon involves Horace’s employees as well as a New York hatmaker, as she tries to cover up her own secret romantic designs.

    Activity: Sunshine and Roses Art Studio – Cutie Cactus & Lola the Llama

    Location: KWES Art Room

    Dates: Tuesday, July 16 3-5 p.m.

    Cost: $25/painting

    Description: (Up to 75 words)Sunshine and Roses Art Studio is back for summer fun! You can choose to paint Cutie Cactus, Lola the Llama, or both. Classes are open to all ages (adults too) and you do not need any painting experience! All supplies are included in the registration fee. Ages 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

    Activity: Basketball Camp

    Dates: June 3-6, Grades 1-4 @ 2:00-2:45 pm, Grades 5-7 @ 3:00-4:15 pm

    Cost: $36/$38

    Description: Camp is for both boys and girls who want to learn and improve their skills and have fun playing basketball. Players will participate in drills, contests, and games. Camp T-shirt included if registered by May 26

    Activity: Volleyball Camp

    Location:K-W M/HS

    Dates: June 24-27

    Cost: varies by age group

    Description: Camps are offers for students entering K-grade 12. These all-skills camps work on fundamentals and developing skills. Fun games and drills will be incorporated into all camps.

    Activity: Sports of All Sorts

    Location: Kenyon – East Playground Field & Wanamingo JV Softball outfield

    Dates: Tuesday (Kenyon) Thursdays (Wanamingo) 9:00-10:00 am

    Cost: $25

    Description: This program will emphasize movements and skills needed for a wide variety of sports. Balance Agility, opposition throwing and kicking, striking and catching skills will all be incorporated into this fun age appropriate curriculum.

    Activity: Tumbling Camp

    Location: K-W M/HS Wrestling Room

    Dates: July 22, 23 & 25

    Cost: $12

    Description: Ages 7 and up are invited to join us for tumbling camp. Whether you’re new to tumbling and want to learn the basics and proper technique or have mastered the basics and are ready for a new challenge, K-W tumbling camps are for you! Work with instructor Elizabeth Pearl to move your tumbling to the next level. Camp is limited to 12 participants so register early!

    Activity: Soccer Camp

    Location: K-W M/HS

    Dates: July 15-19, 6:00-7:00 pm

    Cost: $37

    Description: Shattuck-St. Mary’s Soccer Academy coaches are bringing their talent to K-W for a soccer camp! Making soccer fun is the most important goal in their community camps. Kids enjoy playing soccer and learn best through the use of numerous skills-related games and activities. Small-sized games of 3x3 and 4x4 that focus on individual skills within these games are the basis of their teaching. Participants need to bring their own soccer ball, shin guards, and a water bottle.
