Exciting food truck crawl event to debut at Summer's Hub in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Summer's Hub in Kennewick is preparing to hold its first annual Food Truck Crawl coming up on June 1st.

They'll be open from 9am until 8pm. A $5 wrist-band will get you access to up to 23 different food trucks all offering special $5 food items. The event was inspired by different taco crawls from around the area, but Summer's Hub wanted to change the game up and do a food truck crawl to add more variety for people to be able to try different kinds of food.

"Bringing new culture here, having them try different food trucks seeing how clean we are. I know that food trucks sometimes have a bad stigma to it so we're hoping that it opens people's eyes and we're able to connect and bring a lot of people here at once," said Shelly Deery. Deery is the executive director of Summer's Hub.

People could purchase a wristband online or at the day of at the Summer's Hub. People are also allowed to leave and come back at any time that day and still receive the $5 food deals.
