South Pemiscot SB building toward historic spring
The Holcomb High School softball squad has 22 of its 24 games this spring, so the Hornets are a daunting challenge for the other six programs in the upcoming MSHSAA Class 1 District 1 Tournament. That includes South Pemiscot, however, following a recent 4-3 loss to Holcomb, the Bulldogs do have some confidence that an upset of the top seed is possible.
Senath-Hornersville BB has taken a journey to success
CARUTHERSVILLE – Senath-Hornersville High School is so far south in the Bootheel, that it often proves to be a journey for the Lions to venture anywhere. That is the literal case for the school’s student-athletes, but in the case of the Senath-Hornersville varsity baseball squad, it has proven to be a figurative journey, as well.

Softball Recap: East Prairie finds home field redemption against South Pemiscot
There's no place like home for East Prairie, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the South Pemiscot Bulldogs on Tuesday and snuck past 9-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as East Prairie also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
