Two incidents occurred in Dunklin County, Missouri this week. In the first incident, two individuals were injured when their vehicle collided with a deer on County Road 401. The driver lost control and hit a tree. In the second incident, the former head of the Dunklin County Sewer District and his wife were charged with multiple felonies after a state audit revealed over $160,000 missing or misused. The charges were filed after a Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation into the alleged theft.

CAPE GIRARDEAU – A Kennett man on Wednesday admitted recording his sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl and recording other children in the shower. 43 year old Matthew A. Prewett pleaded guilty in front of a U.S. district judge to a felony charge of sexual exploitation of a minor. Portageville Man Arrested on Drug Charges Amid Missouri's Ongoing Substance Control Efforts

Two Hurt in UTV/Deer Crash
Two Kennett residents were hurt Sunday when their UTV struck a deer on CR 401 west of Kennett, causing the vehicle to run off the road and strike a tree. The driver 56 year old Don Collins received minor injuries, while a passenger, 21 year old Mary Collins, received moderate injuries.
