Downtown Joplin Alliance seeks local developers for renovation project

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) -- The Downtown Joplin Alliance is looking for local developers and innovators to help build the Joplin Union Depot.

The Joplin Union Depot is located at the north edge of downtown Joplin and has sat vacant for decades.

According to the Downtown Joplin Alliance website, in 2022, the DJA's Endangered Properties Program established an agreement with the Missouri's Dept. of Natural Resources. The agreement would allow the EPP to conduct studies and create a marketing plan in hopes of finding a new developer for the property.

Solicitation of Interest Submission opens March 18, 2024
Solicitation can be submitted until May 31, 2024
Solicitations should be submitted preferably by email, but will also be accepted by USPS, commercial carrier or hand delivery
