Body found in Kalamazoo River prompts multi-agency response in Albion
ALBION, Mich. — A body was found in the North Branch Kalamazoo River Tuesday afternoon in Albion, according to the Albion Department of Public Safety, or ADPS. Multiple agencies responded to Haven Road near the waterfall around 1:30 p.m. after a report that a body was possibly sighted in the water, police said.

ADDISON — An administrator with experience running similarly sized districts in Calhoun and Monroe counties is the Addison school board's choice to be its next superintendent. Scott Salow has been superintendent of Summerfield Schools in western Monroe County since 2021. Litchfield man, wanted on pipe bomb charges, extradited
HILLSDALE — A Litchfield man wanted on a number of weapons and narcotics offenses for an incident in April has been extradited to Michigan to answer for his charges. Arvil Wesley Bryant, 32, was lodged in the Hillsdale County Jail Monday afternoon and is tentatively scheduled for arraignment in the 2B District Court at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 12.
