Glen Allen man charged with scamming Tennessee woman out of nearly $134k
A Glen Allen man is facing multiple charges after law enforcement officials in Tennessee allege that he scammed a woman there out of nearly $134,000. Twenty-nine year-old Hang Than was arrested in Prince William County April 16 and is currently incarcerated there awaiting extradition to Sullivan County, Tennessee, where the victim lives according to the Kingsport Times News.

The GFWC Erwin Monday Club attended the annual GFWC District One Spring Meeting in Morristown. The event was hosted by the Ladies’ Reading Circle and the Soma Sala Circle Clubs, both of Morristown. District One is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, which is an international women’s service organization dating back more than 134 years with a membership of more than 60,000.
