Single vehicle crash in Irasburg results in minor injuries
IRASBURG — The Vermont State Police, Irasburg Fire Department, and Orleans EMS responded to a single-vehicle crash at 3674 VT RT 14 this afternoon. Investigations revealed that the operator of the vehicle, Justin Brown, 50, of Fairfax, was traveling north on VT RT 14 when he became distracted and went off the roadway.

DERBY — A Newport City woman faces charges of retail theft and providing false information to law enforcement following an incident at a local supermarket. Vermont State Police responded to a call at approximately 5:30 p.m. on April 21 at the Price Chopper on 56 Commons Drive after receiving reports that a man and a woman had stolen merchandise valued at $128.04.
Eden woman arrested on outstanding warrant for domestic assault charges
EDEN — Vermont State Police took a 59-year-old Eden resident, Christine Pomer, into custody on May 10 after responding to a family disturbance on East Hill Road. Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 5:22 p.m., where they identified Pomer, who had an active warrant due to a failure to appear for a previous domestic assault charge.
