Jasper ISD has announced that Jasper High School senior student Brady Neal has been granted admission into the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School in Colorado. Neal will be in a 10 month program at the prep school, and upon successful completion he could potentially earn consideration and a recommendation from the prep school commander for an appointment into the Air Force Academy.

Festival raised funds for members of a burned church
The 4th Annual Dam B/Town Bluff Community Festival was held on Saturday and organizers are reporting a great turnout. The event was at Fairview Baptist Church, and this year all monies taken in will be donated to Lakeside Apostolic Church, which is located just a few miles south and was heavily damaged in a recent fire and will have to be rebuilt.
