    Cougars' Abi Anderson takes 1,600 meter run

    Janesville Craig’s boys track and field team finished in fifth place with 57 points and its girls team placed seventh with 36 at a Stoughton invitational on Friday.

    The Cougars’ Abi Anderson took first place in the 1,600 meter run with a time of five minutes and 28.94 seconds and placed second in the 3,200 with a time of 11:52.77 to lead the girls team.

    Craig’s girls 3,200 relay team also placed second with a time of 10:29.66.

    For the boys team, Craig’s Nathan Daskam took the top spot in the high jump with a score of 6-02. The Cougars’ 400 relay team finished first with a time of 43.15 seconds and their 800 relay team took second at 1:29.97.

    Milton’s boys team placed 11th with 27.5 points and its girls team placed 14th with 11. The Red Hawks’ Ethan Mitchell took first in the boys 110 hurdles with a time of 15.15 seconds.

    Janesville Parker’s boys team took eighth with a score of 43 points and its girls team took 12th with 21.
