JAMESTOWN, ND (KXNET ) — The man arrested following a high-speed chase near Jamestown earlier this week is now facing felony charges.

Chance Standridge was arrested April 30 after a highway patrol trooper tried pulling him over for speeding on I-94.

The trooper says Standridge then sped up over 120 miles an hour, cutting through a ditch, driving into a farmyard and then heading into Jamestown. At that point, the trooper ended the pursuit.

Jamestown police caught up with Standridge after troopers say he crashed into another driver and didn’t stop.

Standridge is now charged with reckless endangerment and fleeing a police officer.

Investigators say Standridge, who’s from Mandan, was also driving with a suspended license.

Standridge will be in court in Jamestown this afternoon. His trial is scheduled for September.
