CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued until 9 p.m. A weak cold front will keep showers and storms in the forecast today. We will see a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon which will warm the temperatures back into the mid to upper 80s. Another round of storms will be possible late this afternoon and this evening. Isolated strong to severe storms are possible. Some rain may continue overnight but mainly dry weather is anticipated by Tuesday morning. Less rain, but still a few showers and storms, are possible on Tuesday with highs back to near 90 degrees. The rain chances will decrease for the rest of the week and temperatures begin to heat back up into the low 90s.
